Basic Policy on the Elimination of Antisocial Forces
・The Company and its group companies stipulate, in the Basic Sustainability Policy and Compliance and Risk Management Regulations, that they refuse to have any relation whatsoever with antisocial forces that threaten the order and safety of civil society.
Status of Systems aimed at the Elimination of Antisocial Forces
・The Company has formulated a Manual for Elimination of Antisocial Forces such as Crime Syndicates and Response to Unjustified Demands, which clearly states the Company's policy on the refusal of relationships with antisocial forces, and has established a management system for the elimination of antisocial forces as follows.
a. Establishment of Task Force Department and Task Force Committee
・The General Manager of the General Affairs and Planning Department shall be in charge of the Task Force Department, which is responsible for preventing any relationships with antisocial forces. In addition, the General Manager of the General Affairs and Planning Department establishes a temporary Anti-Social Forces Task Force Committee to deal with antisocial forces and appoints the appropriate personnel (regardless of whether they are members of the Company or external parties) as necessary and upon receiving the approval of the Manager of the Administration Division.
b. Response to the Presence of Anti-Social Forces in Stores
・The store manager (or the employee who is next in command in the absence of the manager) is responsible for the primary response at each store. In addition, based on the matters that require attention, they are to make an emergency verbal report in accordance with the procedures and prepare a Report on Response to Anti-Social Forces such as Crime Syndicates which documents the details of the response.
c. Cooperation with Specialized External Organizations
・Our company, and in particular the General Affairs and Planning Department, works closely with the police department that has jurisdiction, the Prefectural Council for the Elimination of Violent Groups, lawyers, and others.
d. Investigations of Business Partners
・For new business partners, our company has a system in place in which we conduct an anti-social forces investigation in advance in accordance with the Manual for New Business Partners. For existing business partners, an anti-social forces investigation will be conducted once a year.。
